Representation

My students are working on an unit around why proper representation is important. All of them are creating a piece of art/media to represent themselves accurately. I wanted to work on a project along side them so this is what I made ! it was fun, hope y’all enjoy and thanks for the support ✊🏽😁 #representationmatters

Brown

This is one of my favorite pieces I’ve written. I began writing this in 2013 and have been adapting it little by little to what it is today. I recorded this for my students to showcase some empowerment and representation.
